More than just efficient illumination.
Origin represents the new generation of interior luminaires that use progressive LED technology. It is designed to be recessed into ceilings with exposed grids. With its lumen output, Origin could fully replace fluorescent luminaires which were mass-used until now, by significantly lower energy consumption. Not only used technology, but also brand new design makes from Origin the luminaire, which fulfill the strictest criterias for interior lighting.
Origin is offered in three basic variants:
Origin CS – central and side parts wired to one circuit
Origin C+S – central and side parts separatelly controllable
Origin C+RGB – central part + RGB side parts
DESIGN

At first sight Origin differs from traditional look of interior luminaires for commercial areas and extend its application possibilities for different others interior places. In that manner Origin becomes easy choice for architects or interior designers, that expect from the luminaire something more than just perfect photometric characteristics.
The luminaire is primary designed for paralel lighting of both parts, but in standard execution allows to switch two circuits independently. Central part could be dimmable in two ways: whether with simple pushbutton (on/off/dim up/dim down) or with DALI protocol. Side parts could be dimmable on request as well.
When the central part is switched off, illuminated side part could serve for relaxing atmposhere in the room, eventually for night security lighting. On request it is possible to use colour LEDs for illumination of side reflectors, whether in single colour or in RGB execution. This option extend application possibilities of luminaire as a tool for decorative or mood lighting.
INDIVIDUAL

Architects and interior designers will be particularly interested in the new range of ORIGIN INDIVIDUAL. The lighting fixture could be more close to furnishment of interiors by application of the real wood on side reflectors.
Current offer of materials (oak, spruce, apple-tree, nut-tree or exotic meranti) will be step by step extended by another materials.

ENVIRO
One of the most important parameter both for projectant and for single user of lighting installation is power consumption of the luminaire. Employed LED technology with its luminous efficiency totally beat mass-used linear fluorescent lamps. Origin therefore consumes markedly less electric power than fluorescent luminaires which were used up to now, of course by maintaining the same luminous flux output. The difference 36W* per single luminaire is clear indicator of Origin´s economical profitability. Although modern technology and used materials are reflected in higher initial price of the luminaire, much lower overall operating costs could reliably bring back the higher investment. On the top of this, it is necessary to put additional savings for lamps and their exchange, as Origin does not need any maintenance for its operation.
SILENT OPERATION
Operation of LED light sources is completely silent, Origin is therefore suitable even for the most silent areas. LEDs after turning on run up to their full luminous flux in milisecond, not even often switching on and off don´t have any negative influence to their operation and lifetime.
LOW WEIGHT
Thanks to used materials and modern technology, weight of the luminaire is only 4,5kg. This fact not only allows easy manipulation and simple installation of luminaire, but mainly it stress the ceiling construction minimally. Very compact shape of luminaire allows recessing even into extreme low false ceilings, height of the luminaire is only 80mm.

OPTICS
Special optical system provides high level of protection against glare, keeping very high optical efficiency at the same time. Extraordinary lighting characteristics of luminaire is created by two light-active parts – the main central part and the secondary side part, that forms the overall design of luminaire at the same time.
CENTRAL PART
Microprismatic diffuser of central part has computer optimalized pyramidal structure, which accurately redirect luminous flux to requested direction. At the same time, diffuser prevents of unwanted glare above viewing angles defined by standard. Diffuser excel in high light transmission, together with perfect mixing capability of light radiated from single LEDs. The result is very homogeneously backlighted active part of the luminaire, without visible hot spots. Rotational symmetric light distribution curve with uniform emission of light to all directions allows random orientation of luminaire in space. This unique feature makes it possible to keep the flexibility in interior arrangement.
SIDE REFLECTORS
White painted side reflectors distribute the light out of the luminaire by the way of diffuse reflection. Increased portion of diffuse light decrease hard contrasts of things and allows better modelling of objects in the room.
The luminaire is suitable for workstations with monitors: luminance of light emitting area is in accordance with EN 12464-1: Light and lighting – lighting of indoor workplaces. Luminance of light emitting area do not exceed the value of 1500cd/m

LIGHT SOURCE
Light sources of central and side part are created by last generation LEDs with high luminous efficiency, that are placed on printed circuit boards and solidly fixed to the luminaire housing. Precise designed thermal management utilize single housing of luminaire as a massive heat sink, whereby keeping LEDs cooled optimally till ambient temperature +35 oC. These conditions ensure for LED technology optimum operating parameters, minimal luminous flux depreciation and guaranteed minimum lifetime 50.000 hours.
LED light sources are available in two colour temperatures: 3000K and 4000K. Both versions have colour rendering index more than 80, which secure excellent recognition of colours in illuminated space.

SENSOR
DALI sensor optimizes energy savings with intelligent occupancy and daylight controls. When the system detects appropriate levels of light, the luminaires will be dimmed or even switched off, saving up to 55%. It also dims lights in areas when they’re unoccupied.
USER INTERFACE
Panel for intuitive control of light level. Direct access to a specific light level is provided via a touch-sensitive backlit intensity selection ring. By pressing the “on“ side of the button, the last used light level will be restored.
EMERGENCY LIGHTNING
Emergency lighting systems are essential in many buildings. The level of safety required is laid down in international and national legislation and guidelines. When normal power fails, the emergency drivers immediately switch into emergency mode and support fixtures at reduced lumen output for a minimum of 60 minutes. When AC power is restored, the drivers return to their charging mode.
